Paint the Night Dining Package: Wine Country Trattoria Dining Review

In my last post I mentioned I booked a dining package for the Paint the Night parade! I’ve done a few dining packages before and have absolutely loved them! I really recommend everyone try a dining package at least once! There are quite a few dining package options for both parades! I dined at the Wine Country Trattoria for the first time and will be giving my review of my experience!

Starters

Italian Insalata

You have a choice between Italian Insalata and Chef’s Soup Selection as your starter. The soup was Italian Wedding Soup. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce with pepperoncinis, kalamata olives, roma tomatoes, cucumbers, and shaved parmesan with a red wine vinaigrette! We both chose the salad option!

Rustic Bruschetta

What I really enjoyed was the opportunity to add one of three appetizers for just an additional $4! We chose to add the Rustic Bruschetta which was absolutely DELICIOUS! This appetizer included roasted artichokes, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and caramelized onions on crostini with paprika oil and parmesan. I’m glad we had this because it made up for the salads which were lacking dressing.

Entrees

There are many options for entrees ranging from pasta, lamb, steak, salmon and more! I was torn as to what to pick because everything sounded so delicious! I went with the Salmon entree while Ashlee chose the Rib-Eye Steak! Let me tell you what we thought of both dishes!

Salmon

The salmon is served with roasted potatoes and tomatoes, and arugula salad with dill-butter cream sauce! I felt this dish was absolutely delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and I loved the sauce! There was a little too much arugula for me, but overall it was a great dish!

Rib-Eye Steak

The steak is served with creamy garlic stacked potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts with bacon and honey! I know Ashlee found this dish very appetizing! Everything was cooked well. The only thing I didn’t like was the honey in the dish. The mix of the steak and the honey flavor didn’t mix well with me. Other than that, highly recommended dish!

Dessert

Trattoria Tiramisu

I’m not a big fan of coffee-flavored foods, except when it comes to tiramisu! This dessert was almost too beautiful to eat! This dessert was the perfect size after all the food we had eaten! I really liked this tiramisu, but not better than the panna cotta!

Chocolate Panna Cotta

I’ve never had panna cotta until now! I am so glad I ordered this dessert because it was the best part of the whole meal hands down! For those of you who don’t know, panna cotta is a custard. I had to look it up because I didn’t know what it was! The chocolate paired with the raspberry sauce was absolutely delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this dessert!

Overall

I’m glad I tried out this restaurant because the food was very delicious! I recommend eating here either for the dining package or just a regular meal! I’d like to go back for lunch and possibly try their pasta dishes! Once we finished our meal, we were given our tickets for Paint the Night! For my review of Paint the Night, check out this post! Have you eaten at the Wine Country Trattoria? Let us know what you thought of it!
