Food Review: Pixar Pier Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats Lemon Soft Serve

Pixar Pier construction is moving quickly! The newest “grand opening” was for the Abominable Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats! All the buzz leading up to its opening surrounded the lemon soft serve cone that would be served here! The mix for the soft serve is very similar to what is used for dole whips. Essentially this new treat is a lemon dole whip!

I happened to be in the parks today, for a completely unrelated reason, so I thought I’d swing by the new stand! I had just found out the day prior that they would be opening May 1st so the timing was perfect! I made the trek to the back of the park where the pier is and stood in a seemingly short line for my delicious lemon treat!

The weather was not very conducive for soft serve, but I had to try it while I was there! Once I made it to the window I ordered a small lemon soft serve cone. You can get small or large. I saw quite a few people holding a float type dessert which is actually the Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait! This is lemon soft serve with blue raspberry swirl and it looks delicious! You can also get It’s Snow-Capped Lemon! which is lemon soft serve dipped in white chocolate! Sounds like I need to make some more trips!

My thoughts on the It’s Lemon! soft serve are good! It’s very delicious, refreshing, and best of all LEMONY! If you’re not a fan of lemon or tart flavors, this is not the treat for you! I must say this just might give the dole whip a run for its money! If I had to choose between the two, I choose the lemon soft serve! Next time you find yourself in DCA make sure you try a lemon soft serve cone! Let us know what you think of it!
