FOOD GUIDE: My Quest to Eat Through Pixar Fest: Part 3

I’m very excited to share Part 3 of My Quest to Eat Through Pixar Fest! Why you may ask? Because I finally crossed off some highly anticipated foods from my list! Let’s not waste any time and dive right in!

Cafe Orleans

Ratatouille Inspired 3-Course Prix Fixe

My favorite Pixar movie is Ratatouille, so it goes without saying I couldn’t wait to try this Ratatouille-inspired meal!

Starter: Specialty Cheese Flight

Who doesn’t love a cheese plate?! I’ve had my fair share of cheese plates from Walt Disney World, and they were to die for! Needless to say, I didn’t turn down the chance for one here at Disneyland! This platter was a great start to this meal, and all the cheeses were delicious as were the accompaniments!

Entree: Shrimp Ratatouille Byaldi

Am I the only one that wanted to try the ratatouille dish that Remy makes at the end of the movie?? Well, now you can! The layers of vegetables with the sauce went really well together, but the shrimp was an added bonus! Overall, very delicious dish!

Dessert: Berry-stuffed Beignets a la Mode

As if the first two courses weren’t enough, there’s dessert! This was the perfect size after such a filling meal! The beignets came out fresh, and the berry filling was amazing! I could have done without the ice cream, but it was refreshing to have on top! All in all, I highly recommend eating here and trying out this Ratatouille-inspired meal!

Lucky Fortune Cookery

Harryhausen’s Chilled Noodle Salad

One of my favorite places to eat in DCA is Lucky Fortune Cookery! When I saw this yummy noodle salad, I had to try it! The Disneyland Resort recently rolled out mobile ordering at select quick service restaurants. This is one of them! Check out my post about the roll-out of mobile ordering here!

This chilled noodle salad is very refreshing with a kick to it! It’s also a super fun meal because when you mix the sauce with the noodles, they change color! The only downside to this meal is the price. I think the price is a little high for the portion, but it is still worth trying! AP’s make sure you use your discount too!

Pixar Lemon Raspberry Cake

The last thing we tried was the Pixar Lemon Raspberry Cake! I’ve had my eye on this cake since the beginning of Pixar Fest! There are multiple locations that sell this cake, but I got it at Paradise Garden Grill in DCA! Each layer is a different flavor, and the cream cheese frosting is really good! I think this is worth trying for all you cake lovers out there!

I hope you go out and try these yummy foods and let us know what you think of them! Until next time Adventurers!
