Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Food & Drink Reviews

Food & Drink Worth Trying in Galaxy’s Edge

Welcome Back Adventurers! As you know we’ve visited Batuu and wrote about all the wonderful things it has to offer! No trip is complete without trying the local food! Now if you’ve looked at any of the menus you’ll notice the food seems a little…different. I assure you while it is a little out there, it’s still delicious! Here is what we tried and our thoughts:

Milk Stand

Blue Milk & Green Milk – $7.99 (No AP Discount)

If you come in through one of the Frontierland entrances, one of the first food locations you’ll come across is the Milk Stand. Only two items are offered here: blue milk and green milk. Here’s the catch, they’re not actually milk…well dairy milk that is. Both are made from a plant-based blend of coconut and rice milks!

So, what’s the verdict? Blue Milk! While both are interesting, the blue milk just tasted better in our opinion. Green milk tasted more floral. We’ve heard mixed reviews but our vote sides with blue milk. We’ve also seen people mixing the two flavors, so we’ll have to try that out next time!

NEW: Souvenir Milk Jug – $24.99

You can now get an even BIGGER container to hold that delicious blue or green milk! You can get it directly from the stand and have blue or green milk or empty if you just want the container. There is a light on the bottom as well. The jug can also be purchased through mobile ordering as well!

Pro Tip: Mobile order if the line gets long, you’ll get your drink quickly and save some time!

Ronto Roasters

This was hands down our favorite place we tried. Granted we still haven’t eaten a meal at Docking Bay 7, but it’s going to be pretty hard to beat a Ronto Wrap!

Breakfast Ronto Wrap – $12.99 (AP Discount)

We loved the regular Ronto Wrap so much we had to try the breakfast one! This one contains Scrambled Eggs, Grilled Pork Sausage, Shredded Cheddar, Peppercorn Sauce, wrapped in Pita. I love the Peppercorn Sauce in the regular wrap and I thought it was perfect in this one as well! You can’t go wrong with this wrap so I would highly recommend you try it!

Ronto Wrap – $12.99 (AP Discount)

This wrap includes Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, tangy Slaw, wrapped in Pita. While the price may seem a little high for one wrap, it’s very filling and VERY delicious! Yes, there is a bit of a kick with the spices inside, but we love spicy food so it was an added plus. In fact, we got this a second time during our second reservation because it was just THAT good! So if you’re looking for something quick to eat as you walk around the streets of Black Spire Outpost, this is a perfect choice!

Nuna Turkey Jerky – Spicy – $7.49 (AP Discount)

The title gives away what this delicious snack is, spicy jerky! Emphasis on the SPICY! For $7.49 you get a fair amount of jerky. This is perfect for snacking on while in line.

Nuna Turkey Jerky – Sweet – $7.49 (AP Discount)

We tried the sweet jerky and it is definitely much milder than the spicy jerky! This particular batch was a little too dry for our liking. There’s still a good portion given to you and it’s a great option if you’re not a fan of spicy foods!

Sour Sarlacc – $5.49 (AP Discount)

This refreshing drink contains Minute Maid Limeade with Raspberry and spicy mango. The name is not deceiving this drink truly is sour! Once you get past that initial sour flavor the rest is really delicious! It’s very refreshing and worth the price!

Pro Tip: Mobile order if the line gets long, you’ll get your food/drink quickly and save some time! Your AP discount will apply if you have your pass linked in the Disneyland app.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

As mentioned previously, we didn’t get the chance to try a meal here, but Docking Bay 7 does serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is indoor and outdoor seating. You can mobile order and AP discounts do apply. We did try one dessert and specialty beverage that we had our eye on and it was pretty delicious.

Oi-oi Puff – $6.49 (AP Discount)

This dessert is a raspberry creme puff with a passion fruit mousse. It almost looked too beautiful to eat, but it was truly delicious! It wasn’t too sweet, the filling was very good. I would definitely get again. This is a great treat to end any meal or to eat on its own!

Moof Juice – $5.49 (AP Discount)

This drink contains Simply Fruit Punch, Simply Orange with Pineapple and Chipotle-Pineapple. Now I may like spicy food, but spicy drinks are another story. I was hesitant about trying this because of the chipotle-pineapple, but I honestly couldn’t taste it. This drink is refreshing and worth trying!

Kat Saka’s Kettle

Outpost Popcorn Mix- $6.49 (No AP Discount)

Here is where you can find a special sweet/spicy popcorn mix and souvenir popcorn bucket for $19.99. Or you can get a regular size of popcorn for $6.49. As you can see our friend Sarah was a fan! It was more sweet than spicy and tastes kind of like Fruit Loops!

You can purchase Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, or Dasani from this location. There is a limit of 3 per person.

Pro Tip: Buy your Coke/Dasani beverages from here as they are $4.99 as opposed to $5.50 at the outdoor stands

Oga’s Cantina

I’ve saved the best for last, Oga’s Cantina. This is the one location that has alcohol available to the public within Disneyland. Aside from building a droid or lightsaber, this is probably the most popular location in Galaxy’s Edge. As of now the rules in the Cantina are:

  • 2 drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) limit per person
  • 45 minute time limit
  • Must consume all drinks within Cantina
  • AP Discount available for non-alcoholic drinks (I wish we knew this before we paid)

The atmosphere is amazing. I think our favorite part was DJ R-3X, the former pilot of Star Tours. It is crowded and loud and probably not the best place for children. We did come across some bored kids. Due to its popularity, you are seated on a first available basis which means you may need to elbow your way to the bar to order. There are some booths for larger groups but mostly standing tables. If you don’t get any coasters with your drinks don’t be afraid to ask for some. They’re super cute! We did try 4 of the non-alcoholic beverages. Some were good, some were not. Here is what we tried:

Hyperdrive (Punch It!) – $6.00

This drink contains Powerade Mountain Berry Blast, White Cranberry Juice, Black Cherry Puree, and Sprite. I was really looking forward to this drink, but the Powerade was overpowering and it was hard to taste the other flavors. It wasn’t overly sweet, but it was better than some of the other drinks we tried. I would recommend, it was still refreshing and tasty.

Jabba Juice – $6.50

This drink contains Simply Orange with Pineapple, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, and Blueberry Popping Pearls. This was probably our favorite of all the drinks. The mixture of the different fruit flavors was really good and I love a drink with popping pearls!

Blurrgfire – $7.00

This drink contains Odwalla Lemonade, Pomegranate Juice, and Habanero-Lime. Remember what I said earlier about spicy drinks? I did NOT enjoy this one. I couldn’t get past the overly salted rim and taste of the drink. Ashlee didn’t mind it too much, but this is not one I would recommend.

Carbon Freeze – $7.50

This drink contains Powerade Lemon Lime and Wild Strawberry with Blueberry and Green Apple Popping Pearls. This drink is really fun when it’s brought out because the popping pearls are bouncing around the cup. There’s dry ice in the bottom that makes for that fun effect. This is similar to another drink offered at Lamplight Lounge.

Overall, we’re glad we made it inside, but it’s probably not someplace we’ll be going back to for a while. If you don’t drink or aren’t a fan of the non-alcoholic beverages then this could be something you opt out of doing.

Pro Tip: Reservations are now needed for Oga’s and can be made through the Disneyland app or online beginning at 7:00 a.m. each morning. Reservations can only be made for that day.

Pro Tip Recap

  • Mobile Order! If you’re wondering how to do that, check out our post on how to Mobile Order through the Disneyland app.
  • Buy your Coke orbs/Dasani water at Kat Saka’s Kettle, they’re cheaper!
  • Ask for coasters at Oga’s Cantina if you don’t get any
